Vaccines - 2010/08/10 02:01 Hi,
I started on the VCML vaccine in November last year through the Melanoma Unit in Sydney. So far all is going well with NED and I continue on monthly injections.
I was wondering if anyone else that is on the vaccine suffers from fatigue as a side effect? I seem to have a complete drop in energy levels after the injection picking up slightly the week before I am due the next dose! I have been told that I should have adjusted to the vaccine by now and that the fatigue must be caused by something else but it definitely does correlate with my vaccine doses.
Thx
Rowena

Re:Vaccines - 2010/08/11 03:24 I was on a trial vaccine back in the 90's for about 8 years and other than I used to get anxious before the jab and check up which is a really normal reaction I had no side effects. About 5 years ago I had a months of radiation due to a reoccurance of melanoma. Radiation takes it out of you and one thing that kept me going was to drink sustagen as much as I could. This drink kept my energy levels high and I still use it as a good vitaman supplement. If you are getting really fatigued as a suggestion give it a try and see what happens. I wish you all the best with your treatment.
