I was advised of a Callender Type B melanoma in my eye - the eyeball was enucleated and I was shattered. The power of positive thinking saw me return to my job as a croupier within 6 weeks, and remained in the industry for 19 years. "Fred" as I call him is 21 years old next year, and I still enjoy a full life with a few exceptions. I drive long distance regularly and only a select few know of my condition. The prosthetic technology has been wonderful and uplifting to me. I offer this evidence to help others deal with a similar condition, and willingly will discuss it further with anyone through these pages. Always think positive. |
